Why this shelf exists

A calmer way to find browser games.

Pocket Parlor curates free, openly licensed games and gives each one enough context to be enjoyed—and credited—properly.

What changed

Pocket Parlor no longer publishes house-made games. The current library contains 80 third-party open-source titles selected for clear licensing, useful variety, and the ability to run locally.

What “curated” means here

We inspect the repository license, preserve notices, record the reviewed revision or archive, host required assets locally, and remove analytics or unnecessary remote resources. A public repository without a clear reuse license does not qualify.

Original game artwork

Game cards use project-supplied artwork where it exists, or a locally captured start screen from the original game runtime. No game card uses AI-generated art.

Credit is part of the interface

Every game page identifies the creator, license, upstream repository, reviewed source record, and any Pocket Parlor adaptation. Game authors retain their own copyright; Pocket Parlor does not claim authorship of their work.

Before public launch

Deploy the site at aestro.page only after the site operator, hosting details, and the [email protected] inbox are configured and monitored.
