Controls and source details are below. The game will only load after you choose to start.

No autoplay and no account—the game runs locally in your browser.

01

How the game works

Fill a two-color grid without triples, uneven rows, or repeated lines.

02

Your goal

Complete a balanced binary grid so every row and column satisfies all three rules.

03

How to play

  1. Choose a board size from the opening screen.
  2. Tap or click an empty tile to cycle between red, blue, and blank.
  3. Complete the grid without breaking a row or column rule.
04

Controls

Desktop

Use the mouse to select tiles and menu controls.

Mobile

Tap tiles and controls directly; the original interface was designed for touch.

05

Rules & scoring

  • No row or column may contain three identical tiles beside one another.
  • Every completed row and column contains equal numbers of red and blue tiles.
  • No two completed rows match, and no two completed columns match.

The upstream game stores its puzzle score locally in this browser. Pocket Parlor does not transmit it.

06

Useful tactics

  • Two matching colors touching force the tiles beside them to use the other color.
  • Matching colors with one blank between them force the blank to be the opposite color.
  • Count each line before guessing; balance often resolves the final spaces.
